27 Days to go - Church Painting (well kinda)

this is a first coat on the church, going for a white wash effect on the timber and slate type roofing

    I don't see any base on your church, are you gonna glue it on your board or are you gonna keep things mobile? Balsa can warp badly but you probably know that already.
    I have started working on a malifaux board myself but I'm struggling to find some styrofoam. Is celotex anygood? Can you really not use a hot wire cutter on it?
    Oh and finally did you sort out your transport/boardsize issue?

  2. Probably Mobile, the church is made of foamcard with balsa sheet applied to the outside, so should be sturdy enough

    i struggled for weeks to find styrofoam the celotex won't work with a hot wire cutter as its made of something that chars on contact with heat (fire protection)

    currently transportation is still an issue, but at worst i have to carry a 3x3 board which isn't that bad really.
